Companies are moving away from DYI Kubernetes

According to the “State of Kubernetes 2023” survey. 84% of the companies prefer to let vendors handle assembling and keeping Kubernetes up to date.

There are over 100 Kubernetes distributions on the market, including xKS services and Kubernetes orchestration software.

At least 20+ individual services must be associated with a K8s distribution for it to be used as a trustworthy platform. So, building a K8s platform from scratch is not a business focus – as demonstrated in this survey. Article by Michael Coté
